Alan McGee, o gênio da gravadora Creation

A Creation Records foi uma das mais importantes gravadoras de música alternativa do mundo, dos anos 80 até metade dessa década.

Assim como a Factory nos 70/80, definiu boa parte do que veio depois dela na música pós-punk independente.
Claro que isso também é devido ao sucesso das bandas que fazem parte do casting da gravadora...

Mas vamos e venhamos, apostar fichas em bandas como Jesus And Mary Chains, Primal Scream, Ride e My Bloody Valentine, quando antes delas, ninguém havia feito algo parecido, tem que ter bolas...

A algum tempo, a revista Stylus listou e resenhou os 50 primeiros singles da Creation e publicou em seu site.
